ABSN Track Application Process
If you’re ready to move forward and begin the application process for the accelerated nursing track at CTX, here are the five key steps involved:
1. Speak with an Admissions Counselor
Your application process begins with a phone call with one of our admissions counselors. You will share your academic history, future career goals and reasons why you want to become a nurse. This will help your dedicated counselor figure out if you meet the minimum admissions requirements for the ABSN track and develop an academic plan that is right for you. Your counselor will also serve as your main point of contact throughout your admissions/application process.
2. Develop an Academic Plan
It is important to work with your admissions counselor to create a personalized academic plan that works toward the program start date you have targeted. Our ABSN track offers you start dates three times each year in January, May, and August.
3. Successfully Complete Prerequisite Courses
Before you can apply to our ABSN track, you must complete a series of general and natural science prerequisite courses within the required specifications.
4. Apply to our ABSN Track
Contact your admissions counselor to find out how to create an account and complete your online application for the ABSN track in Austin or Dallas.
5. Send Official Transcripts
After you complete your application, you will need to send your official transcripts from all colleges or universities you previously attended to:
Concordia University Texas
Office of Admissions Processing
11400 Concordia University Drive
Austin, TX 78726
You don’t have to go through the admissions process alone. If you have more questions about how to apply to our Accelerated BSN track, please contact an admissions counselor today.
