No nursing education is complete without the real-life experiences you can only gain by working in real healthcare settings. As a Concordia University Texas Accelerated BSN track student, you’ll learn first-hand what it takes to be a knowledgeable, compassionate nurse through hundreds of hours of clinical rotations at a variety of clinical sites.
For the ABSN track clinical placements, we’ve teamed up with top local healthcare facilities to provide you with the best possible real-world patient-care experiences. These partnerships provide an opportunity for you to gain exposure to the area’s key employers of registered nurses (RNs).
Real World Clinical Experience
Clinical placements are your first chance to experience life as a professional nurse. During your clinical rotations, first you will shadow practicing RNs, then work alongside our experienced clinical faculty and assist them in providing patient care.
They will coach you as you apply your nursing skills, helping you develop the confidence and clinical knowledge to provide direct patient care under the supervision of clinical faculty. You can expect to gain diverse nursing experiences in areas that may include:
- Adult health
- Mental health
