ABSN Site Locations

The Concordia University Texas ABSN track offers two nursing satellite campuses — one in Austin, and the other in Dallas, Texas. As an ABSN student, you’ll attend skills and simulation labs in one of these state-of-the-art facilities and sit for proctored exams in their on-site classrooms.

If enrollment in our ABSN track means you’ll need to relocate, rest assured that the Austin and Dallas metro areas have much to offer.

Austin Satellite Campus

The city of Austin offers a rich combination of culture, business, entertainment, and sports. It’s known for its parks, river access, hiking and biking trails, good food, and great music.

U.S. News and World Report named Austin No. 3 in its list of best places to live for 2020-2021. The ranking is based on cost of living, strong job growth, high quality of life, and other factors.

Austin’s healthcare sector is a prime destination for registered nurses because of the growing needs of its aging baby boomer population. CTX is proud to be part of Austin’s growing healthcare community.

Dallas – Fort Worth Satellite Campus

Dallas is a thriving city known for its arts and entertainment, year-round sporting events, and growing economy. The North Texas climate allows for enjoyment of nature and outdoor activities throughout the four seasons.

The Dallas-Fort Worth area is also known for its nationally renowned healthcare resources and medical facilities. The city’s healthcare sector represents about 15 percent of the regional economy — or $52 billion, according to the Dallas Regional Chamber.
