Concordia Texas ABSN Prerequisites
In order to be accepted into our ABSN program, you must complete each of the prerequisites below with a “C” grade or higher. Concordia University Texas offers all prerequisite courses online.

|Medical Spanish for Healthcare Professionals||3|
Note: Medical Spanish may be taken as a corequisite or fulfilled with a 3-credit Spanish language course completed as a prerequisite.
Concordia Distinctive Courses
|Life and Leadership **||1|
|Leadership Theory and Practice **||2|
** These two distinctive courses may be taken as corequisite during the program. The corequisites must be completed within the first three semesters of the nursing program.
Requirements ABSN Applicants Without a Previous Degree
If you do not hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution and are applying for our ABSN program with the minimum transferable credits, then you must complete The Concordia Common Experience CORE courses listed below:
